The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien

It was a Monday when I had just begun a new year of school. me and my friend Jacob showed me a book called the hobbit.  I thought that it was going to be just and old  book from back in the day were everyone read the oldest things.  But as soon as I read the begging it turned out to be really dull and a drag.  Isn't that how all books are?  A good book is one that really doesn't get your attention at first, but this one you had to stick with reading it because if not then you were going to miss out on a really awesome adventure story.  The story is that a hobbit named Bilbo Baggins one of the elders of the town of Hobbiton is told that his house is going to be used for a meeting for dwarf, arranged by Gandalf a great wizard.  Bilbo is suddenly invited on a quest to take back a mountain that the dwarfs ancestors once ruled, but was suddenly taken over by a dragon named Smaug, because the mountain that the dwarfs lived in was filled with gold. So Bilbo agrees with Gandalf. So he sets out on his journey with the group of dwarfs to destroy the dragon Smaug and take back the mountain that the dwarfs once ruled. Well that was swell wasn't it?  Now if your interested then I advise that you read the whole series of The Lord of The Rings. These tales have become movies, and The Hobbit is to be a movie in 12/12/12.  So if you like tales with dragons, trolls, spiders, and dungeons filled with jewels, swords, and many more monsters then if I were you then I would read this book cause its amazing.
